Cat's Cave

It’s something that slipped into my mind…the first sound of the word loneliness is lo, sounds like “low” to me. Strange creature that I am for hearing it.

For now, I am lonely, feel isolated, alienated from just about everyone, and most likely I have put my foot in my mouth.  Foot to mouth is not an unusual thing for me…unfortunately it happens far too frequently.

Enjoying solitude is directly across from that empty, empty feeling of knowing you don’t belong, anywhere-anywhere. It’s not all right to be different, not just step out of the box but stomp it, to seek genuine closeness…it is foolish and naive to think that you can be accepted unless you stay in that box, the tiny box that shrivels then drowns your spirit.

I speak of spirit often. It is a way of describing attitudes and actions. It’s that sleek part of us that deflections criticsm that is not meant to help but to demean us.

Knocked down, sat on, and getting up requires too much effort to get up…

Been a damn long time of going without…
